Wedding rings have a significant meaning for both spouses. They as though symbolize infinity: never-ending love, eternal passion, infinity of ratios.
A lot of people put in them a certain mysterious sense. Probably from this also there were the various superstitions linked to wedding rings.
Usually rings are bought either by the groom, or his family. In most of the times it was gold rings. It was considered that gold will reliably save spouses from a bad weather, everyday shocks, envy and illness. For this reason ornaments carried without removing and without lending anybody, after all thereby it is possible to lose for ever family’s well-being and to destroy happiness.
