I had been nervous as heck prior to when I had to give a best man speech at my friends wedding reception. I haven’t regarded myself as a very good public speaker, so this made me particularly nervous. My brother had told me about 3 months prior, so I had enough time to prepare, but still, it’s one of those things you can easily put off until the last second.
